Covered Get early access

Insurance tracking for general contractors

Know every sub on your job is covered.

Covered collects your subcontractors' certificates of insurance, reads the policy dates and limits, and chases renewals before anything lapses. No spreadsheet, no digging through email.

Early access opens to the waitlist first. We'll only email you about Covered.

Example data

One lapsed policy can land on your insurance.

If an uninsured sub gets hurt or causes damage on your job, the claim can come back to you, and your carrier's audit can bill you for their payroll. Most small GCs track this in a spreadsheet that nobody updates.

How it works

Set it up in an afternoon. Then stop thinking about it.

  1. Add your subs

Paste a list or import a spreadsheet. Each sub gets a private upload link, with no account needed on their end.

  2. Certificates come in

Subs or their agents upload the COI. Covered reads it and pulls out carriers, limits, and every policy date.

  3. Checked against your rules

Set your minimum limits and required endorsements once. Anything short gets flagged with the exact reason.

  4. Renewals chased for you

At 30, 14, and 3 days before expiry, Covered emails the sub and their agent. You get one weekly summary.

Questions

Common questions

Do my subcontractors need to sign up for anything?

No. Each sub gets a private link to upload their certificate. Their insurance agent can use the same link.

What if a certificate is a blurry scan?

Covered reads typed and scanned ACORD 25 forms. If it can't read a field with confidence, it flags that field for you to confirm instead of guessing.

Is this only for general contractors?

General contractors are first. Property managers and facility teams who hire vendors have the same problem, and they're welcome on the waitlist.

Does Covered replace my insurance agent?

No. Covered keeps track of the paperwork your agent and your subs' agents produce. Questions about coverage still go to your agent.

When does it launch?

We're building with a small group of contractors now. Waitlist members get access first, in the order they joined.
